Chris Bayee has nearly 20 years of daily newspaper experience as a writer, editor, designer and web site editor, most recently at the Orange County Register. He has covered Junior A and NCAA hockey and been involved in several projects with NHL teams as a researcher, editor and designer.
He fell in love with the game after watching a Chicago Blackhawks-Toronto Maple Leafs game at the old Chicago Stadium while in high school in the early 1980s. He's most comfortable playing the wing in pickup hockey.
