TSN
They know more than a little bit about this sport north of the border. This Canadian site is one of the foremost authorities on the game.

CBC's Hockey Night in Canada
Another excellent Canadian site, and this one lets you watch replays of Coach's Corner with the legendary Don Cherry. That is a must for old-time hockey fans.

ESPN.com's NHL section
The boys in Bristol, Conn., do a nice job covering the action on and off the ice.

U.S. College Hockey Online
An excellent site to keep up with the U.S. college game. It also features a store.

Hockey Database
This amazing site allows you to search for players, teams, rosters, and statistics. It's very comprehensive and quite accurate.

Slap Shot Merchandise
Nothing says hockey like a Hanson brothers jersey or perhaps an Ogie Ogilthorpe or Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken jersey. So get your goon on!

Hockey Overstock
Hockey Overstock has excellent prices on apparel and accessories for players. The equipment selection is hit and miss, but there are great deals to be found. I've bought from them many times and never been disappointed.

Hockey Monkey
A very good site for finding deals on hockey gear. Their selection is generally excellent, and their superstore in Costa Mesa, CA, is fantastic. I have purchased pads from here. Outstanding service as well.

Hockey Giant
A very good discount hockey store. Their selection is generally good, and their clearance deals are worth checking out. Their Anaheim, CA, superstore is decent.

Hockey World
I happened upon this site a while back and ended up getting some great deals on protective equipment. They have a massive clearance section.

SportSK
An excellent discounter of hockey (and NFL) apparel. A good place to go for jerseys. I've also purchased from them.

River City Sports
A massive online apparel site from north of the border. I've ordered many jerseys, t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts from them over the years. Their sales are outstanding.

Amazon
It's tough to top this online retailer for prices on hockey books. Being able to buy them used in the marketplace can save even more money. I visit here often.

Defunct: San Diego Gulls
Gone but not forgotten. The Gulls played in many leagues over the years, and they had a very succesful run in the old International Hockey League.

Defunct: Long Beach Ice Dogs
Like the San Diego Gulls, the Ice Dogs started as an IHL team before moving to the ECHL. They suspended operations in 2007.

Long a supplier of talent to NCAA programs, the USHL is a Tier 1 junior hockey league that is growing in stature, as evidence by the increasing number of its alumni going higher and higher in the NHL Entry Draft.

North American Hockey League
This is the oldest Junior A hockey league in the United States.

Canadian Hockey League
The CHL houses the three major junior leagues in Canada - the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League and the Quebec League. Californians are making inroads in this elite junior league as well.

British Columbia Junior Hockey League
More and more California players are heading north of the border to play junior hockey. The league is supplying more and more players to U.S. colleges as well.
